ABOUT US
Excel for His Glory (Excel) is a private, voluntary, Christian enrichment program consisting of individual homeschool families sharing in time, expenses, and resources to provide social and educational experiences for our children. Excel is a full year program consisting of two semesters. The fall semester is from September to December and the spring semester is from January to May. With Summer events and activities as well. Semesters last from 14 to 15 weeks, we meet together once a week for our enrichment classes. Our classes are taught by parents and at times additional teaching staff.
We Begin the day with an open lunch hour for any families interested in eating together. Following our lunch period is our mandatory assembly followed with three one hour class periods.
Other activities for each semester include field trips, dances, a full length school play, closing program and highschool graduation, mom's night out, Bible studies, special events, before and after school activities. We operate as an interdenominational program and are not associated with any particular Christian denomination. We are above all Christian and are governed by the Word of God and the principles found therein.

Mission Statement
While we are strongly committed to the idea of the local church body being an effective means to nurture and minister to individual families, we also recognize the need for homeschool families to glean from one another's experience and insight.
(Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.)
In view of this, our purpose and desire is to minister to the unique needs of homeschool families by:
Glorifying God in all our endeavors.
(1 Corinthians 10:31 - So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.)
Providing enrichment classes to enhance the educational, social, and spiritual growth of the individual homeschools.
(Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.)
Sharing in the abilities, talents, skill, and insights of fellow homeschoolers for the purpose of raising a godly generation to reach a lost world for Christ.

Statement Of Faith
As an enrichment program, we build our program on the following:
We believe in one God, existent in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. We believe God, as manifested through the Trinity, is the Creator of the universe and all that is known and unknown. We believe that the Bible is His infallible Word, without error, and the ultimate truth through which all knowledge can be evaluated. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose
to life again, victorious over death. We believe that He is returning again for His church. We believe salvation is through no other except Jesus Christ and faith in Him. We believe that God, in His word, has given parents the responsibility and authority to raise and educate their children in a godly
manner.
(Deuteronomy 6:5-9 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.)
(Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.)

Our Purpose
We are here to serve and support the local homeschool family. We are passionate about home education and its benefits for the home educated student. As an enrichment program we seek to enrich the homeschooling journeys of each of our families by providing opportunities they may not have had otherwise. We strive to leave with our students a love for learning that will spill into adulthood. Our prayer is that they will all become life long learners. Our hope is that together we can create a strong supportive community as we walk through this journey together with Christ as our focus.
